The Girls’ Higher secondary school Tangdar (GHSST) organized Cleanliness Drive under Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Abhiyaan Programme . The main purpose of this programme was to create awareness among the students regarding Cleanliness and its benefits.
All the students from
9th to 12th participated in this programme,. Even teachers were the essential
part of this drive. As a part of this Cleanliness Drive, students and teachers
cleaned the whole school and surroundings of the school.

Shafeeq Ahmad Chuck started the programme by cleaning the corners of the play
ground. Then the teachers and students followed suit. Students & Teachers picked
brooms and started the job.
Some students along with
teachers went to the Suliman village and start picking wrappers lying
scattered there. After collecting them
they threw them in to the dustbins.
After finsishing the job
of cleaning students & Teachers assembled in a school hall where worthy
Principal delivered the speech about the importance of sanitation. He also
honored the sweepers of the school for their noble job. In the end both
students & Teachers took an oath to keep our home, locality and city clean.
