GHSS Tangdar organized Felicitation Ceremony for meritorious students

To celebrate and applaud the meritorious achievements of the students in the JKBOSE and NEET Examination, Govt. Girls’ Higher Secondary School Tangdar organised a Felicitation Ceremony on 21st July 2023. The felicitation ceremony was graced by the presence of meritorious students, Teachers and parents of meritorious students. The Programme began with the recitation of Holy Quran. A welcome speech was given by Muneeb Ullah Itoo, Lecturer mathematics. In his welcome speech he thanked all the participants particularly the parents of meritorious students for their presence in programe despite their busy schedules.Zara Altaf,NEET qualifier &  Alumni of GHSS Tangdar batch 2016 also spoke on the occassion. In her Speech Zara Altaf said that there is no substitute to hard work. Hard work and long study sessions — Zara credited these two factors as being key to crack the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). She suggested the students that to achieve heights one should always work smartly and correctly with good planning, strategies, and a positive mindset. She also mentioned the contribution of GHSS Tangdar in her successful career.

A renowned orator of tehsil Karnah, & Teacher by Profession, Mr. Javid Ahmad Qureshi congratulated all the meritorious students. In his speech Mr. Javid highlighted the significant contribution of GHSS Tangdar in the field of Education under the able leadership of Principal Shafeeq Ahmad Chak. He also encouraged the students to follow their passion, and to achieve ‘Higher, Stronger and Brighter’ goals. He further advised the students “Keep your feet on the ground and your thoughts at lofty heights”. Mtr. Sharmeela Begum , Teacher by profession also spoke on the occasion. In her address, she enlightened the students to make positive choices in life, to be humble, and to strive for excellence in all the endeavours in their future life. The Principal Shafeeq Ahmad Chak congratulated and acknowledged the impeccable performance and the efforts of the assiduous students. He motivated the students to be focused and urged them to put in their best efforts to excel in life and achieve their career goals. At the end of the programme a prize distribution ceremony was held. As many as 19 awards were given to meritorious students including NEET Qualifier Zara Altaf. The awardees included, Saleeqa Hassan, Sabreen Jan, Adeeba Khursheed(12th Science Stream), Zaniab Naseer, Nooreen Qureshi, Sadiya Rafi (12th humanities Stream), Iram Mehmood, Aiyana Jahangir, Syed Zoya Fatima (11th Science Stream), Khawaja Seemab, Nuzhat Quyoom, Mahima Akhtar (11th Humanities), Farheen Zahoor, Misbah Reyaz, Farhana Nabi(Class 10th ), Sameena Mukhtar, Bahashiat Shakoor, Sania Naseem(Class 9th ). The students were happy and excited to receive awards from teacher in presence of their parents.
